Lucy Westenra came from a wealthy family. Her father died some years ago, and she and her mother lived in
relative comfort, with several servants. Lucy was Mina Murray's best friend and Arthur Holmwood's fiance.. After Dracula arrived in England, Lucy became his first victim. Despite the efforts of Dr. John Seward and Dr. Abraham Van Helsing, she died, and became a vampire herself.
